Site Engineer

Job description:

1. Site Inspection and Reporting

• Conduct preliminary inspections at potential construction sites.
• Gather data and write site reports

2. Health, Safety, and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.

3. Collaboration and Coordination

• Collaborate with subcontractors, clients, crews, and consultants.
• Coordinate joint measurement activities.
• Coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors for work arrangement and forward planning.
• Organize and participate in meetings with contractors at regular intervals.

4. Technical Advice and Problem Solving

• Provide technical advice and diagnose technical difficulties.
• Solve problems encountered at the site as soundly and promptly as possible

5. Project Planning and Progress Monitoring

• Assist in work arrangement on site, especially planning the project sequences and coordinating all phases of the project.
• Monitor and update work progress, take necessary action to expedite the work.
• Follow through project on scheduled timeline, sequences and coordinate all phases of the project.
• Liaising with client and local authorities to understand the needs and requirements.
• To assist in monitoring the site activities to ensure the outcome of the products are fulfilled requirement.
• To assist in supervises project schedule and also the development and requisite on site material flow.
• To ensure the goals, policies and procedures for project achieved from time to time

6. Documentation and Reporting

• Complete and submit meeting minutes and progress reports for projects.
• Produce various reports as required.
• Assisting in Production of Monthly Claim.

Job requirements:

1. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. Have 1-2 years of working experience in construction site, preferably in infrastructure/earthworks industry.
3. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply for this position.
4. Applicants must be willing to travel to outstation if required
5. Applicants must be able to work on half day Saturday (8AM - 1PM) 

Internship - Civil Engineering

Job description:

1. Work with project managers to organize and coordinate construction activities on site, including making arrangements for equipment, materials, and workers.
2. Learn how to sequence construction tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
3. Assist with documentation and record-keeping related to quality control and assurance, including submitting reports and documents on time.
4. Understand how to apply theory to practical on-site work, and be able to identify and troubleshoot potential problems that may arise.
5. Learn about the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the role it plays in maintaining a safe work environment.
6. Assist with identifying and mitigating environmental impacts of construction projects, including developing plans to minimize waste and protect natural resources.

Job requirements:

1. Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. Basic knowledge of construction practices and principles.
3. Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Safety & Health Officer (SHO)

Currently we have a few Safety & Health Officer (SHO) vacancies available in our company.  
Locations: 

1. Bukit Jelutong, Selangor 
2. Gombak, Selangor 

Job description:

1. Develop and implement safety policies (OHS), procedures and systems to ensure a safe working environment.
2. Assess potential risks and hazards in the workplace and develop strategies to reduce them.
3. Conduct safety inspections and audits regularly to ensure compliance with safety standards.
4. Investigate any safety-related incidents and provide recommendations to prevent future incidents.
5. Provide safety training to employees to ensure they understand and comply with safety regulations.
6. Prepare and maintain detailed records of safety inspections and incidents.
7. Monitor and evaluate safety programs to identify any areas of improvement.
8. Remain up-to-date with safety regulations and industry best practices.

Job requirements:

1. Candidate should possess a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent
2. Must have Green Book.
3. Newly certified Green Book holder is welcomed to apply.

Environmental Officer (EO) - Gombak

Job description:

1. Conduct environmental inspections and monitor compliance with Best Management Practices (BMPs) at project sites.
2. Ensure compliance with EQA1974 and other related act / guideline / instruction for the project site.
3. Manage scheduled wastes and ensure proper handling and disposal.
4. Conduct preparation for third-party environmental audits by the client / authorities.
5. Implement and monitor Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015.
6. Provide environmental training to project personnel and promote environmental awareness.
7. Prepare project environmental management plan, monthly report and any environmental checklists / documents and submission to client / consultants as required.
8. Arrange for environmental quality monitoring by coordinating with lab technicians and submitting reports to clients.
9. Monitor and improve best management practices on site, including recycling and waste reduction.
10. Submit written notifications to Department of Environment (DOE) regarding genset and scheduled waste storage management.
11. Supervise water truck for dust control for project site activities.
12. Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations at project sites.
13. Investigate and report any environmental emergencies or accidents at the project site.
14. Conduct environmental inspections and internal audits.
15. Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by ISO 14001:2005.
16. To oversee all of the company for the environmental of the project.
17. To prepare and implement emergency procedures and to ensure that they meet the requirements established by any environment policy of the company / client.
18. To liaise with stakeholder, client, authorities in the matter of environmental for the project.
19. Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management

Job requirements:

1. Candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science or equivalent
2. Candidate must possess CISEC or CESSWI competency certificate
3. Minimum 2 years experience in environmental compliance and management, preferably in construction industry
4. Applicants must be willing to work in Gombak, Selangor.
