Site Engineer - Klang/ Johor/ Dengkil/ Perak

Job description:

1. Site Inspection and Reporting

  • Conduct preliminary inspections at potential construction sites.
  • Gather data and write site reports

2. Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.

3. Collaboration and Coordination

  • Collaborate with subcontractors, clients, crews, and consultants.
  • Coordinate joint measurement activities.
  • Coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors for work arrangement and forward planning.
  • Organize and participate in meetings with contractors at regular intervals.

4. Technical Advice and Problem Solving

  • Provide technical advice and diagnose technical difficulties.
  • Solve problems encountered at the site as soundly and promptly as possible

5. Project Planning and Progress Monitoring

  • Assist in work arrangement on site, especially planning the project sequences and coordinating all phases of the project.
  • Monitor and update work progress, take necessary action to expedite the work.
  • Follow through project on scheduled timeline, sequences and coordinate all phases of the project.
  • Liaising with client and local authorities to understand the needs and requirements.
  • To assist in monitoring the site activities to ensure the outcome of the products are fulfilled requirement.
  • To assist in supervises project schedule and also the development and requisite on site material flow.
  • To ensure the goals, policies and procedures for project achieved from time to time

6. Documentation and Reporting

  • Complete and submit meeting minutes and progress reports for projects.
  • Produce various reports as required.
  • Assisting in the Production of the Monthly Claim.

Job requirements:

  1. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Have 1-2 years of working experience in a construction site, preferably in infrastructure/earthworks industry.

Planning Engineer - Infra & Highway Division

Job description:

1. Performance Analysis

  • Conduct monthly internal site meetings to analyze productivity, weather impacts, resource allocation, and site challenges.
  • Identify root problems and propose fundamental solutions to improve site efficiency.

2. Site Collaboration

  • Actively engage with site teams to ensure smooth data flow and teamwork.
  • Perform weekly follow ups on site performance, identifying key factors influencing progress or delays.

3. Data Management and Reporting

  • Regular preparation and submission of required reporting to client (e.g.: coordination, bi-monthly and monthly reports).
  • Collect, organize and validate primary and secondary data for accurate analysis (internal meeting).
  • Provide meaningful insights that differentiate data reliability and drive decision-making.

4. Cost Awareness

  • Promote cost-consciousness among site personnel by analyzing financial impacts on project performance.
  • Support senior management in aligning site operations with project goals (in terms of meeting revenue and within budget).

5. Site Engagement

  • Visit project sites fortnightly to capture drone images and gather real time data.
  • Collaborate with site teams during critical milestones, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.

6. Support for Tender Preparation

  • Assist in tender preparation by providing support (e.g. proposed work program, organization chart and CV of respective key personnel, proposed logistic planning, proposed plant & machinery, and proposed method statement) for tender submission purpose on a need basis.

Job requirements:

  1. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience with exposure to project planning and site operations, those who have experience working with two different companies are preferred, to bring diverse industry perspectives and to understand the role presented is different from conventional expectation of the role.
  3. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint.
  4. Effective communication and collaboration skills to build trust and teamwork on site.
  5. A problem solving mindset with the ability to identify and address root causes of performance issues.
  6. Hands-on experience with drone operations and video editing for exported drone videos is an added advantage.
  7. Knowledge of cost management and financial awareness in construction projects is an added advantage.

Environmental Officer (EO) - Elmina West, Shah Alam

Job description:

  1. Conduct environmental inspections and monitor compliance with Best Management Practices (BMPs) at project sites.
  2. Ensure compliance with EQA1974 and other related acts/guidelines/instructions for the project site.
  3. Manage scheduled wastes and ensure proper handling and disposal.
  4. Conduct preparation for third-party environmental audits by the client/authorities.
  5. Implement and monitor the Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015.

Job Description:

  • Attend, supervise, and coordinate site activities. Liaise with the sub-contractor and the clerk of work.
  • Report site activities, site progress, and other site matters to the superior and management.
  • Solve site issues and ensure smooth operations at project sites.
  • Coordinate with other trades involved in the project (electricians, plumbers, concrete workers).
  • Ensure projects meet the stipulated quality requirements and compliance safety, health and environment requirements.
  • Ensure facilities and equipment at the project site are at optimum availability and satisfactory functional at all times.
  • Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates should possess at least a SPM or Professional Certificate or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience in supervising and coordinating site activities in the construction industry.
  • Candidates with prior or current experience in infrastructure/earthwork are highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
