KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 (Bernama) -- Advancecon Holdings Bhd’s 30 per cent owned associate Advancecon (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd (ASSB) has secured a RM45.48 million contract from Petros Power Sdn Bhd for works related to the Miri Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant project.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the contract period would be 12 months from Aug 1, 2023.

The contract is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of Advancecon Group.

As for funding the project, it said it intends to use internally generated funds and/or external borrowings.

ASSB is principally involved in the business of providing earthworks and civil engineering services and other related services.
