Description
To support and maintain a safe and healthy working environment at the project site by monitoring site activities, identifying and preventing potential hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and assisting in the implementation of the company’s HSE programs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the site SHO on various tasks, in documentation and implementation of company / department OSH programs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, such as Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, FMA 1967 (Bowec), EQA 1974, CIDB and other related act, guideline & instruction.
Advise employers on best practices and measures for ensuring safety. Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify and rectify any potential hazards
Monitor, inspect and correct any unsafe practices or conditions at project site.
Collaborate with contractor safety supervisors to ensure sub-contractors are adhering to safety regulations.Ensure all sub-contractors are compliant with OSHA, FMA and other related regulations.
Investigate and report any incidents, accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, poisoning, or diseases that occur on the project site.
Participate in HSE committees and execute HSE inspections and audits.
Monitor and maintain KPIs related to safety
Oversee all the workplace activities to ensure they are up todate and meet the safety standard.
Experience Requirements
Must have a Yellow Book
Certified CIDB Traffic Management Officer (TMO) is an added advantage.
Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the construction field is preferred for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Raja, Klang.
Applicants must be willing to work every Saturday (8AM - 1PM)
Qualifications Requirements
Candidate should possess a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent
