Description
Responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and systems, conducting safety inspections and audits, investigating incidents, and providing safety training to ensure a safe working environment at the project site.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement safety policies (OHS), procedures, and systems to ensure a safe working environment.
Assess potential risks and hazards in the workplace and develop strategies to reduce them.
Conduct safety inspections and audits regularly to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Investigate any safety-related incidents and provide recommendations to prevent future incidents.
Provide safety training to employees to ensure they understand and comply with safety regulations.
Prepare and maintain detailed records of safety inspections and incidents.
Monitor and evaluate safety programs to identify any areas of improvement.
Remain up-to-date with safety regulations and industry best practices
Experience Requirements
Newly certified Green Book holders are welcome to apply.
Experienced in the construction industry would be preferred.
Applicants must be willing to travel to outstations if required.
Applicants must be willing to work on Saturday, 8 AM-1 PM.
Applicant must be willing to travel to Ijok, Kuala Selangor once every two weeks.
Qualifications Requirements
Candidate should possess a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or Equivalent.
Must have a Green Book.
