Description
The role entails leading and managing construction projects in all aspects of planning, execution, and completion that ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocation, subcontractor coordination, and risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor project progress, budgets, costs, quality, safety, and overall performance.
Lead meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities while serving as the primary project contact.
Review and approve project expenditures, invoices, claims, and resource utilization to ensure effective cost control.
Manage stakeholder relationships and support contract administration and negotiations.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, budgeting, contract administration, and safety regulations.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, resolve project issues, and lead project teams effectively.
Applicants must be willing to travel to outstations if required.
Applicants must be willing to work on Saturday, 8 AM-1 PM.
Qualifications Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
PMP or other relevant project management certifications are an added advantage.
