Description
The Earthworks Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all earthworks-related activities, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with requirements specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in implementing earthworks operational strategies, plans, and project targets.
Plan and allocate resources, including machinery, equipment, manpower, and materials to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor site supervisors and workforce performance to optimize productivity, efficiency, and resource utilization.
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize project delays and disruptions.
Recruit and provide guidance to site operators, drivers, and workers to ensure compliance with company procedures and work standards.
Monitor and verify site records including attendance, plant and machinery usage, diesel consumption, equipment maintenance, and workforce discipline.
Ensure timely submission of accurate reports and effective resolution of site issues
Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in earthworks operations, preferably in a supervisory or operations management role.
Strong knowledge of earthworks processes, machinery operations, resource planning, and site coordination.
Experience managing site teams, operators, drivers, and heavy machinery operations.
Applicants must be willing to travel to outstations if required.
Applicants must be willing to work on Saturday, 8 AM-1 PM.
Qualifications Requirements
Minimum SPM qualification and above.
Additional certifications or training in operations/production management will be an advantage.
